Vintage SH Rotate-O-Matic Super Astronaut battery-operated robot, made in Japan. This classic space-age toy features automatic stop-and-go action, a rotating body, opening battery compartment door, blinking lights, realistic shooting sounds, and swinging action, making it one of the more desirable Japanese robot toys from the late twentieth century.

This example includes the original illustrated box, featuring vibrant sci-fi artwork, and the robot retains its colorful lithographed tin body panels with molded plastic head, arms, and legs.
