This vintage road map lot includes a colorful group of folded travel maps from Esso, Humble, Gulf, Rand McNally, and state highway map publishers. The set features classic gas station graphics, “Happy Motoring” covers, regional highway maps, city and vicinity maps, and travel/tour guide maps from the 1960s, 1970s, and early 1980s.

Included are maps for Ohio, Pittsburgh and vicinity, Chesapeake Bay Region, Delaware / Maryland / Virginia / West Virginia, Washington / Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming, and other regional travel areas. Several of the maps feature the classic Esso/Humble service station attendant and tiger artwork, making this a great lot for collectors of gas station memorabilia, vintage roadside Americana, or mid-century travel ephemera.

Interior map details include highway classifications, city and town indexes, parks and recreation areas, airline stops, airports, points of interest, historic trails, mileage charts, route legends, and detailed road maps. The set includes excellent vintage graphic design and colorful fold-out cartography.

Condition: FAIR TO GOOD

These maps are in vintage used condition with visible age and handling wear. They show original fold lines, creasing, toning, edge/corner wear, small tears, surface marks, writing, and discoloration from age and storage. Some maps have heavier wear, including torn areas and missing paper along edges or folds, as shown in the photos. Please review all photographs carefully.
