H+F Denmark Teak Mouse Pair
Charming pair of vintage Danish modern wooden mice, attributed to H+F Denmark. These little Scandinavian characters feature beautifully shaped dark wood bodies, oversized natural suede/leather ears, tiny black eyes, and long leather tails.
The pair includes two different sizes, giving them a wonderful parent-and-baby appearance when displayed together. Their wonderfully simple forms are characteristic of mid-century Scandinavian wooden animal design.
The larger mouse retains a fragment of its original vintage paper label on the underside. Because the surviving label is incomplete and does not provide a fully readable maker's mark, these are being offered as attributed to H+F Denmark based on comparison with documented H+F examples of the same construction and design.
