Vintage Dansk Jens Quistgaard Flamestone Pitcher

A striking piece of Danish modern design from Dansk’s Flamestone collection, designed by Jens H. Quistgaard. This tall stoneware pitcher features the line’s characteristic deep chocolate-brown finish, with a vertically ribbed upper body, smooth tapered base, sculptural handle, and elongated pouring spout.

The combination of strong geometric lines and an organic, almost architectural silhouette is classic Quistgaard—functional tableware designed to be beautiful enough to leave on display.
The underside bears the Flamestone mark along with the Dansk mark.

A handsome example of mid-century Scandinavian tableware that works equally well as a serving piece or displayed alongside other Danish modern ceramics.
