Vintage Bordallo Pinheiro Portugal Turquoise Six Fish Oyster Plate

A beautiful vintage Bordallo Pinheiro oyster plate from Portugal, featuring six intricately sculpted fish arranged around a central circular well. Each fish has raised scales, detailed fins, and expressive eyes, while flowing aquatic foliage fills the spaces between them.

Finished in a glossy, softly muted turquoise-blue glaze, this distinctive ceramic platter has the dimensional texture and naturalistic design associated with traditional majolica pottery.

The six fish-shaped compartments surround a central well, creating a wonderfully unusual piece for serving seafood or displaying as decorative ceramic art. Its sculptural design makes it especially appealing for collectors of oyster plates, Portuguese pottery, and vintage coastal decor.
