Raffia-Craft by Spears Games | 1960s Vintage Craft Kit
Wonderful vintage Raffia-Craft set by Spear’s Games, made by J. W. Spear & Sons Ltd. of Enfield, Middlesex, England.
This colorful vintage craft kit was designed for children ages 9–12 and contains a ring loom, synthetic raffia and shaped components for creating woven baskets, bracelets, boxes and other decorative pieces. The original box has fantastic mid-century graphics showing six different raffia projects.
This set has been previously started and is being sold as a partially used vintage craft kit. It still contains an assortment of original-looking components, including the circular ring loom, colorful synthetic raffia in several colors, numerous punched brown construction forms and pieces, small round components, and partially completed woven work.
A particularly fun find for a collector of vintage craft kits, vintage toys and games, textile and weaving ephemera, or colorful mid-century packaging. It would also make a great display piece in a craft room or studio.

Condition:
This is a vintage, previously used and partially completed craft kit. Some of the original materials have been used and the set should not be considered complete. The exact original contents and quantities have not been verified. Remaining contents are shown in the photographs and will be sold as pictured.
The box has considerable age-related wear including edge and corner wear, scuffs, scratches, small areas of paper/color loss, and heavier wear along portions of the lower edge. The craft materials show age and previous use, and some raffia has already been worked onto the loom and other pieces.
Please review all photographs carefully for the contents and condition. Because this is a vintage set with unknown completeness, it is best suited to collecting, display, replacement materials, or creative reuse rather than being represented as a complete ready-to-make kit.
