1983 G.I. Joe Cobra H.I.S.S. Tank | Vintage Hasbro A Real American Hero

An original 1983 Hasbro G.I. Joe Cobra H.I.S.S. Tank (High Speed Sentry) from the classic A Real American Hero toy line. This distinctive Cobra armored vehicle features a black body, continuous tank tracks, red Cobra insignia, and an angular enclosed cockpit, reflecting the military-inspired designs of Hasbro's popular 1980s action figure collection.

Introduced in 1983, the Cobra H.I.S.S. Tank served as a high-speed armored assault vehicle for Cobra's ground forces. Its futuristic design, distinctive red 788 markings, and association with the early Cobra vehicle lineup made it one of the most recognizable vehicles from the original G.I. Joe series. The tank was originally equipped with a rotating rear gun turret and accompanied by the H.I.S.S. Driver action figure.

An appealing original piece of 1980s G.I. Joe history, offering collectors an opportunity to restore a classic Cobra armored vehicle or expand an existing A Real American Hero collection.
