Vintage Tiffin Dakota Glass Apothecary Jar with Decorative Lid
Beautiful vintage clear glass covered compote or decorative jar, believed to be Tiffin’s Dakota pattern. This striking piece features a rounded clear glass body on a pedestal foot, an ornate diamond-patterned collar, and a tall pointed finial with vertical ribbing.
The combination of the smooth bulbous body and heavily patterned upper section gives it a wonderful mid-century look. The glass body also contains small bubbles and other characteristics consistent with vintage glass production.
A beautiful display piece for a bar, dining room, mantel, vanity, or collected-glass cabinet. It could also be used as a candy dish or decorative apothecary-style jar.
