Vintage Rosenthal Bjorn Wiinblad White Porcelain Fantasy Pedestal Bowl

A striking sculptural bowl produced by Rosenthal of Germany and decorated in the imaginative style of Danish artist Bjorn Wiinblad.

The exterior features an elaborate raised design of stylized doves, scrolling foliage, flowers, berries, and delicate linear details. Because the decoration is rendered entirely in white relief, the imagery shifts with the light while maintaining an elegant, monochromatic appearance.

A short footed base gives the piece a distinctive silhouette and makes it suitable for display on a console, dining table, shelf, or collector's cabinet.

The underside bears an early green Rosenthal Germany backstamp from the 1950s/early 1960s.
